CDS Summit

The CDS Summit platform will be effective January 1, 2025.

Your Employer will provide you instructions of how to enroll either through their system or via the Summit online enrollment option.

Your CDS Third Party Administrator has already set up an account for you if you were enrolled in a benefit at CDS in 2024. You will receive an email with a link to set up your Summit participant portal. To access the mobile app, visit either the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the app: “Mobile Summit”. The account information you set up for your Summit participant portal will be the same login information for the mobile app.

Our new Summit administration platform is integrated with the Summit Mastercard® debit card that is a collective card that hosts all your accounts on one. Based on your Employer’s set up, you may receive a debit card to utilize the funds in your account.

Integrated with the cloud-based platform, your new Summit debit card will automatically know what account to pull from when you are using it for daycare expenses, doctor or dentist visits, and trips to the pharmacy. Never worry about having to pay out-of-pocket and wait for a reimbursement!

You will be able to access your Summit account via the participant portal and the mobile app. Features with the participant portal and app include:

• Choose elections during enrollment period
• Check available balances
• Review claims status
• Review transactions history
• Report card lost or stolen
• Make HSA investments
• Add/view/edit dependents (participant portal only)
• Submit claim by uploading electronic copies of claims
• Store electronic copies of receipts not yet claimed for reimbursement
• Repay non-qualified transactions online
• Respond to reimbursement claims or card transactions
• Notifications for card transactions and receipt requirement notices

All newly elected contributions in 2025 will be deposited into your Summit HSA account. Your prior HSA account will have no new contributions made into this account in 2025. HSA funds never expire, so you can keep both HSA accounts and use both at any time going forward.

Yes, you can transfer your prior HSA account into your new Summit HSA account at any time after January 1, 2025. To request an HSA Transfer or Rollover from prior custodian to Summit HSA, please complete the HSA Transfer Request Form.

Yes. Once you reach the $1,000 balance threshold, you can invest your pre-tax dollars and get tax-exempt returns! You will be able to manage every aspect of your HSA investments inside of your Summit portal and choose from several different investment models or select individual funds.

All newly elected contributions in 2025 will be set up within Summit. If you currently enrolled in a flexible spending account (FSA), limited FSA, or Dependent Care account, you should be aware of the rules around any unused dollars at the end of the Plan Year. It is always recommended to use your current plan year funds by December 31.

Yes. A unique, patented featured HSAToday® is the ClaimsVault®, which stores digital receipt documentation and certification status that allows for expense substantiation. Your expense information remains available in ClaimsVault for as long as your HSAToday account is open.
